New Contract for "CHIKYU" (Japan)

Japan Drilling Co., Ltd. (JDC) is pleased to announce that we have entered into a contract with Japan Methane Hydrate Operating Co., Ltd. ("JMH") for the provision of drilling services utilizing a drillship "CHIKYU" which is owned by the Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology.

The main terms of the contract are as follows:

1. Client                           ：            JMH

2. Operating Area          ：            Offshore, Japan

3. Period                         ：            38 days (Estimated)

4. Commencement       ：            Around January 2025
