Overview

JDC is the sole offshore drilling contractor established and registered in Japan. JDC has been providing the high-quality drilling services worldwide such as in Gulf of Mexico, West Africa, Mediterranean Sea, Persian Gulf, Southeast Asia and Far East for the past 40 years.

JDC presently operates two semi-submersibles and three jack-ups with workforce of approx. 100 shore-base supporting staff and 450 offshore rig crew.

JDC is also engaged in drilling operations utilizing the state-owned deep sea drilling vessel "CHIKYU", the first riser equipped scientific drilling vessel.

JDC's primary goal is to conduct incident-free operations and we will fulfill our corporate social responsibilities as a leading offshore drilling contractor by conducting our operations in a healthy, safe, and environmentally friendly manner. JDC's HSQE Management System is actively used to manage these activities and continually improve on them. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISM Code, and International Association of Oil and Gas Producer standards, which are international and well recognized standards, will serve as benchmarks.
