In 1969, JDC was founded with an offshore rig in the Indonesian water showing a board with the three words "Washite Hiraku" written by the founder. (It means "Develop through teamwork.") The teamwork as the JDC family has spread around the world for over half a century.
Beyond Drilling
As we enter the 21st century, fossil fuels are under intense scrutiny, but we continue to contribute to the world's energy requirements, including the challenge of renewable energy, on the strength of our technology and experience cultivated in 28 countries around the world and our relationships of trust with our customers.
On the Ocean
Working on an offshore rig. There are no convenience stores or delivery services in the middle of the ocean. Problems must be solved with limited supplies and resources. The experience of immediately breaking down problems and making the best decisions possible at the time is an asset for those who work at JDC and for the company.

Drilling
Operates drilling equipment to make oil and natural gas wells. They are also positions for technicians who observe the entry of formation fluids (oil, gas, and water) into the wellbore and prevent blowouts.

Maintenance
Maintenance technicians are responsible for the maintenance and repair of drilling equipment, generators and transformers, engines, and other equipment installed on rigs, as well as their control systems. The position also plans medium- and long-term maintenance work, considering the drilling rig as an asset (Requirements: Graduation from a mechanical, electrical, or engineering department is desirable).

Barge/Marine
Responsible for towing of the drilling rig and maintaining the rig's stability by keeping it at a fixed point at the drilling site and by positioning ballast and cargo. (Requirements: A graduate of a merchant marine or navigation course is desirable).
